Crumple Paper Mosaic INTL

Looking for a simple way to play with color that feels calming? Wanting to make a craft that's accessible to all skill levels?

This project is for you!

You will have two partners. You may use one letter size paper and cut in half. Or you can cut your paper in half prior to crumpling and coloring. The instructions:

Take a sheet of white printer paper and cut in half (8.5 x 5.5 inches or 140 x 216 mm). Crumple it into a ball. Gently unroll and flatten the paper so that it's mostly flat and leaves behind a web of folds and creases. Using a marker or dark pen, trace the crease lines from edge to edge. Slowly rotate the paper to transform random wrinkles into geometric shapes. Color the individual shapes with markers, colored pencils, or crayons.

What I love about this craft is that I can re-use the paper in my collages, or cut into shapes and stick on other art I make. I enjoy this so much I make a lot of them.

This is sender's choice so you can start on it right away. Since it's already been folded, the resulting art may be folded to mail in a smaller envie. One stamp should get it sent. Extras are optional, of course. It would be nice to include a little note.
