✈️ Trip in an Envelope

Send your partner a mini “trip” by mail, inspired by your corner of the world or the last place you visited on a short vacation.

Think of it as a tiny armchair getaway: when your partner opens the envelope, they should feel like they’ve been somewhere new for a moment.

What to include:

Create an envelope filled with flat items that represent the place, such as:

• postcards (art or tourist)
• tourism brochures or walking/hiking maps
• museum flyers or local event leaflets
• photos (printed or polaroid-style)
• transit tickets, receipts, or ephemera (clean & flat)
• stickers, paper goodies, or handmade paper bits
• small cultural details (tea sachets, café sugar packets, beer coasters etc.)

Try to choose 5 - 10 items total; something you'd like to receive yourself.

Please include:

A letter of at least 1 A4 page introducing the “trip”:

Where are we going? What makes this place special to you? What should your partner imagine seeing, hearing, or doing there?

Please only sign up if you have a well-filled profile and at least 10 completed type 2/3 swaps. I will check the profiles on forehand. Please notice this is a international swap so be sure you put enough stamps on the envelope.
