Description:

In 1984, President Ronald Reagan designated July as National Ice Cream Month and the third Sunday of the month is National Ice Cream Day. In the proclamation, he called for all the people of the USA to observe these events with “appropriate ceremonies and activities.” So, Let’s Celebrate!!

Are you up for a challenge???

Do you love ice cream???

Can you eat ice cream 31 days in a row???

YES, YES, YES!

This is your challenge. Create a JULY 2026 calendar or list, for your partner, which states what ice cream you ate each day of the month. Decorate the page, even minimally and include an ice cream treat. Enjoy your ice cream, in a bowl, in a cone, on a stick, no real requirements here - - it's ice cream.

Include a few “special thoughts or actions” on your list. For example, last year Michelle and I completed a private swap. In her region they have an ice cream passport and she completed it over the month and earned a commemorative stainless-steel tumbler On ice cream day, in Albuquerque there were celebrations all weekend, I hit four each day, talk about pacing. LOL

Find one NEW way to enjoy ice cream and tell your partner, maybe include a recipe. Locally we have a restaurant which serves breakfast oatmeal with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. It was quite yummy.

Ice Cream treats are sender’s choice (these are only suggestions):

  • Stickers

  • Washi

  • Notecard

  • Postcard

  • Fun facts (at least 10)

  • PDT Labels

  • Address Labels

  • Something you created.

Recap:

  • Create and decorate calendar or list

  • Find new way to eat ice cream

  • Sender's Choice for ice cream treat

  • Include special events or moments for your ice cream journey

  • Ice Cream variations: Ice cream, gelato, frozen yogurt, soft serve, sorbet and sherbert.

  • Place calendar and treat in an envelope and send to your partner.

  • NOTE: As a precaution, make a copy of your list in case it gets lost in the mail.

Newbies and International friends welcome! Thanks for looking at this swap! Have a great day.

Does frozen juice count as ice cream? It can be like a ice lollies? Not sure I can buy an individual ice cream daily for a month.
