Location:International
Type:Type 2: Flat mail
Last day to signup/drop:June 20, 2009
Date items must be sent by:September 22, 2009
Number of swap partners:1
Description:

This swap will last for an entire season: it will start on the June solstice and will end on the September equinox. During that time each participant will have 1 partner and will send that partner 4 photos to convey their experiences during the season. Photos can be typical of the season (summer for some, winter for others) or can document various things you did or saw during the season. Include a few words about each photo.

It's up to each sender to decide how they want to mail their photos--photo postcards are fine as are photos made into notecards or photos tucked into an envelope; they can be sent all at once or sent one at a time throughout the duration of the swap. You can think of it as a mini-photographic journal of your season, sent in installments or all together.

Also up to each sender is the type of camera used, the size of print, and the degree of digital alteration (or none at all). Just please send prints of a quality that you'd be happy to receive.

(And thanks to Doodlebabe: she gave me some suggestions for swaps which I've kind of combined and morphed to come up with this.)

Happy solstice, friends!

I just clicked to assign partners, so the swap season has officially begun....

I'll check in once the send deadline has passed, but that won't be until September! So in the meanwhile, please feel free to PM me if you have any questions or run into any difficulties with the swap.

I hope you'll enjoy sharing the season through photos! And, as always, thanks for participating.
