Description:

You probably have a few sewing patterns in your stash for which you had grand plans, but for some reason never came to happen.

Let's see if some fresh, new patterns might help us get some projects off the ground!

Guidelines: New or Vintage patterns, uncut only. Classic styles that should be broadly appealing - for example, nothing asymmetrical or "Soooo 2003." To make sure we can use the patterns we get, let's limit this to only small-ish patterns (size 8-10-12 and the like). If you prefer to start a similar swap for medium or large sizes that would be great. Please send at least 2 uncut patterns to your 2 partners. Patterns for accessories, crafts, etc. are welcome but please only include them as a bonus, after you pack the two dress or skirt patterns.

Please consider including a note to your swap partner, telling them what you had planned to do with the pattern and a simple sketch of what you envisioned.

My pattern wishlist includes:

Professional-looking tailored skirts Pencil skirts A-line skirts

Sleeveless, knee length mandarin collar dresses (like those in the movie "In the Mood for Love") Shirtwaist dresses Halter-neck dresses

I am not a bodaciously busty person, so I look for patterns without tapering or darts at the bust.

Other patterns I could put to use: Handbags and messenger bags Halter tops cap-sleeve or sleeveless blouses

So, what are YOU looking for?

I am an earthy girl. I love things with elastic, but they have to look like they fit, like bias cut skirts. Sundresses are lovely, I make a ton of those, along with strapless "party" looking dresses, except I use cotton so I'm not afraid to wear them.
