Type:None

Date items must be sent by:July 2, 2007
Number of swap partners:1
Description:

In this swap, you'll be exchanging blue and orange things with one other person.

blue and orange can be any combination of blue and orange. Navy and orange. Aqua and orange. Whatever shade of blue you decide on, keep it consistent with the items you choose to send your partner.

This is an international swap, so please keep in mind that you may be shipping to a nation other than your own (swap-bot does not allow me to pick and choose who ships where. If you don't want to ship overseas, don't sign up).

The colors for this swap are blue and orange (complementary colors on the color wheel). With a budget of $25 (US) go forth and search for blue and orange things to send your assigned partner (check their profile to see what kinds of things they like).

Some ideas: cosmetics, candies, stationery, jewelry, stickers, markers, pencils, well-made handmade items, magazines ... get creative! have fun! ... anything with blue and orange!

You must post your package on July 2nd. 2007, this way everyone should receive their packages quickly, and within the same general timeframe.

Please let your swap partner know you have received their package by sending them an email or leaving a comment on their blog.

Please join our flickr group and post photographs of the items you receive from your swap partner.

Let's Play!

new swappers welcome!

Please note: those with "no sends" on their profile, or ratings less than 4.0, will be disqualified from participating.

This is for serious, thoughtful swappers only!

Jeanie ... you're right! I never thought of the sport team possibilities.

I was actually thinking aqua and orange for the color combo, but in my haste to post, I just used "blue". Too late to change now.

Hopefully everyone will find a blue and orange combo they love!

Thanks for joining in!

Smiles, Jeannine

Hi! I'm new! This will be my first swap and I'm really excited! Any seasoned swappers have any helpful hints?

boodzoo 06/ 4/2007 #

Hi Nicole! Welcome! I'm relatively new to swap-bot, but not swapping. The three biggest tips I can offer for this (or any other swap):

  • Mail on time
  • Follow the instructions
  • Have fun!

If you have any specific questions, feel free to post them here or send an email.

Smiles, Jeannine

Hey everyone! Tomorrow (Friday, June 15th) is the last day to sign up or drop out of the Blue/Orange swap. Please take a look at your calendar and double-check that you are ok for mailing ON July 2nd.

It's very important that everyone mails on the same day so that nobody is left out when all of those lovely packages hit the mailboxes.

Partners will be assigned automatically by swap-bot. You will need to come out and check to see who your partner is. I'm not sure the timing on that, but probably by Saturday morning.

It's not too late to invite your friends to play ... the more, the merrier.

Smiles! Jeannine
