Description:

We all have so much to be thankful for! Sometimes, it's easy to be bogged down in what we lack, when really, there's so much that we can appreciate. What are YOU thankful for? What puts a smile on your face and a song in your heart?

For this swap, you'll list 10 things you are thankful for, and send the list to 5 partners. If you feel creative and would like to embellish your email with photos, graphics and sayings that relate to your list, your partner just might give you a heart!

It's my hope that by listing our 10 things, that we'll each focus on the positives in our lives, and that sharing them will encourage and uplift each other.

Newbies are welcome. No low ratings accepted.

Thank you for signing up!

I'd love to see this in a non-electronic swap! Would you be willing to do it, or would you mind if I did it?

Do you mind if I use this idea in one of my groups? I don't really want an email swap either, would rather a written note was sent. Great idea, by the way. :)

Kudos for the great idea but I too, would like a snail mail swap version -- combining a list in letter form & enclosed in a cheerful card is the appeal for me :)

Me four. This would be perfect as a snail mail swap. We could make our lists so cool.

Wow - surprised that so many are interested in a snail mail swap! I don't mind at all if someone wants to host a snail mail version ... I'll keep this one as an email swap, but please feel free to host a snail mail version. Glad you like the idea :)

Thanks!

I love love love this idea. I think its a good idea even when a day sucks or you feel like life sucks to actually take time to look at what you are thankful for. Although so many me included forget. Thank you Ilyse

This was a really fun swap. I love seeing the different things that others are grateful for. :)

To those partners who are going to send to me;

Could you please type Swap Bot or Gratitude list in the subject line? My e-mail is weird and most of the e-mails go to the spam filter, so if you could write one or both of the things I mentioned, it makes it so much easier for me to find your e-mails.

Thanks in advance.

If I sent my email illustrated with pictures and I added a power-point presentation I get a 5-rating? The same as those who sent 1-word answers? It is unfair!!

@ummhussein I have had that happen to me alot of times and it isnt up to you or the coordinator. It depends on who recives it, it know it totaly sux I make everything I send out special just not as special as you did. maybe the person who got it dosnt even have power pointand gave you a 5 becasue you did it. talk to that person not us....

I agree with you totally. But I wasn't complaining.. I was just trying to make a point.
