Description:

I love to grow things, but every time I go to the local shop, I always find the same seeds. So for all of the people who are in the same boat (or should I say soil), we are going to be swapping two packets of seeds; one packet to each partner! You must have at least a 4.98 rating, and no no-sends or ones.

The only thing to keep in mind is that what you buy will grow in the state that you are sending to. For example, I live in Florida, so apple seeds wouldn't grow here (unfortunately!).

I can't wait to see who (if anyone) joins! Hah. Happy swapping.

I hope that everyone who joins has a positive experience! If you have any questions, comments, suggestions, complaints, etc., feel free to contact me via this post thread or message.

EDIT: You may send seeds from your own garden!

Can we send seeds from our own gardens? Or does is have to be store bought?

Naeco 12/17/2009 #

This is meant for store bought seeds. However, you are welcome to send seeds from your own garden if your partner is okay with it!

It's hard to find packs of seeds now. I have lots of seeds from my garden as well.

funkhoup 12/17/2009 #

I'm joining. THINK SPRING!!!!

Naeco 12/17/2009 #

Okay, well I would have no problem receiving the garden seeds, but as I said you would have to check with your partner. I would gladly change the swap requirements, but that would set some people on edge. Sorry if that prevents you from joining this swap, but I would definitely allow you to make your own version, or I might re-host this one with looser requirements!

Thanks for joining funkhoup!

I also would love to get garden seeds and I have tons of garden seeds and packets I made myself.

I love unusual tomatoes and peppers. Hint Hint. LOL

I suppose that seeds are seeds. I'm going to change the swap to allow garden seeds. If anyone has an issue with that then we can fix it. I just don't want to take away the fun of swapping!

Mine are flower seeds. I hope that's alright?????

Naeco 12/20/2009 #

Yes! Any seeds are fine, as long as you are sending them somewhere they can grow!

Naeco 12/20/2009 #

Are you READY for this?!

funkhoup 12/20/2009 #

Bring it on!!!! We can handle anything . Here in Northern VA we just got 20 inches of snow yesterday. Our first white Christmas!!! AND the grandkids are arriving this evening. Life couldn't get any better. Merry Christmas to all!!!!
