Description:

let's swap novelty cotton print fabrics!

(i have a lot of novelty fabrics hanging out in my craft room that i used small pieces of for i-spy quilts, and probably won't use the rest.)

you can send pieces of any size, but the total should be at least 1 yard.

i will keep this open to international swappers, so be prepared to send anywhere

also, i will drop anyone from this swap that has 2 or more 1s in their rating - i want everyone to enjoy this swap

Can you post an example of what type of fabric you're talking about?

swaparoo 08/ 6/2006 #

if you look at any online quilting or fabric site, they usually list novelty fabrics, which are bascially just cotton fabrics with pictures on them, instead of your solids or florals or batiks. here are a few links: http://www.equilter.com/cgi-bin/webc.cgi/st_main.html?catid=145&start=51&sid=31U9Hz1V0CmK2yp-10106521788.91

I too have a lot of irregular pieces left over from I-Spy projects where I only used one motif for my project. I will be sure that there are several usable pictures in each section of fabric sent, and am going to be generous in calculating the "at least one yard" part.

Do you want us to bundle into 1-yard groupings?

swaparoo 08/11/2006 #

as cathy mentioned in her "about me" page, i would also prefer NOT to have any licensed characters, cartoons, etc. in my swap package - thank you

and cathy, no need to bundle unless you just want to

necia, i emailed you through swap-bot, but check out the FAQ page to answer your question. you will NOT get an email telling you your partner

Thanks Tammie. I understand things now. I know I need to login and check to see who I've been matched up with, and then login again when I send my pkg off.

necia, just want to make sure you know that you won't be able to see your partner until on or after the sign-up date (9.1.)
