Description:

This is a simple and easy postcard swap. You'll pick 2 cards, any theme you'd like, (preferably not homemade or an ad/free card) to send to 2 partners. This will be for naked cards, but if you notice that your partner prefers them to be sent in an envelope and you don't mind doing that, then feel free. Write any sort of greeting on the back, but please don't forget to write the swap name and your Swap-Bot username somewhere on the back! You'll have a week from the sign-up date to mail out your cards. Newbies are welcome, but I will weed out anyone who looks like they may flake. A filled-out profile is a must! I will angel if necessary.

Sorry, I just re-read this and my wording seems strange to me...you'll have 2 partners and send one card to each. Argh sometimes I'm illiterate!

I have postcards that I had made through vistaprint so they are normal postcard quality, does that qualify as homemade?

tishous 02/ 2/2010 #

Anyone correct me if they know better than me on this, but I think anything made with a regular home computer is homemade, but ones from a printing service aren't.

I'm confused? 2 Partnerrs? do I send then 2 p/cards also?

tishous 02/ 3/2010 #

Nah, just one card to each partner, so you'll be mailing out a total of 2 cards.

I'm a bit of a newbie here, so can someone please explain what the term "naked cards" means? Are they cards which are not post marked AND don't have any message written on them? Or are they post cards that just are not post marked? Thanks for the info. :)

tishous 02/ 4/2010 #

Actually, just the opposite. Naked cards mean they are NOT in an envelope, so you write on them, stamp them, and send them out. Some people only collect unused cards, so it's an important distinction...glad you asked :)

I really prefer homemade cards so if anyone gets me feel free to go homemade.

homemade is fine with me as well.

Mine will be storebought, but either handmade or storre bought is fine to send me. But I do prefer them naked-

Maggiesmother 02/ 6/2010 #

I prefer mine store bought and in an envelope. Thanks in advance.

Any type of post card is fine with me.

Sorry for the delay in marking mine as sent. I did mail end of the swap on Fri., Feb. 12. We've had some pretty bad snow storms back to back, but i got my brother to mail them for me that day.
