Description:

This is a simple and easy postcard swap.

You'll send out a total of 2 cards, one to each partner.

The card can be any theme you'd like, but preferably not homemade or an ad/free card. Of course, if you see your partner would like to receive a homemade or an ad card and you would like to send one, feel free.

This will be for naked cards, but if you notice that your partner prefers them to be sent in an envelope and you don't mind doing that, again, feel free.

Write any sort of greeting on the back, but please don't forget to write the swap name and your Swap-Bot user-name somewhere on the back!

You'll have a week from the sign-up date to mail out your cards.

I will weed out anyone who looks like they may flake. Newbies are welcome, but a filled-out profile is a must!

I will angel if necessary, just let me know if you've been flaked on.

Sorry, international friends, USA only!

I like mine store bought too.

I have some fun postcards that came with a calendar that I bought, are they considered "free" or store-bought?

tishous 02/20/2010 #

Those, I'm pretty sure wouldn't be considered store bought. But, again, if your partner is fine with it then it's all okay :)

I am going to have to drop this swap. The postcards are very cute LOL cats that came with the Bad Cats calendar but I don't want to send them and have someone rate me negatively because it was a free card.

It may be for the best if you don't have any other postcards. I wouldn't take the chance either. I hope you find someone that appreciates them :)

Just curious. . . are the PCs that MommytheMaid is talking about regular PCs or are they ad cards? Ad cards have actual advertising on them for a particular product, place, etc. whereas PCs that come with calendars are regular postcards. If the ones that come with a calendar are regular PCs that do NOT advertise anything, they were paid for when the calendar was purchased. I have a lot of ad cards but these are ones that you pick up when you go to an art gallery, or they advertise a product.

I'm really not sure what sort they are, but I think she already dropped it just incase.

Usually I see both ad and free cards aren't the most preferred by people that are sending out ones they paid for, so I try to avoid having those as options in the swaps I host unless it's agreed upon by individual swappers as something they wouldn't mind getting.
