Have a stash of friendship books (fbs) that you want to move on quickly? This is the swap for you!

This swap will be super quickÒ€¦ the last day to sign up is Friday and the deadline to mail is Monday.

Here are the requirements:

  • This swap is within the USA only.

  • Send at least 5 new or established fbs to each of your 2 partners.

  • Remember to put a note in the envelope with the swap name and your username.

  • This swap has a quick turnaround time so make sure that you will have access to a computer over the weekend (or on Monday) to get your partnersÒ€ℒ addresses AND that you can mail your envelope by Monday.

Newbies are welcome with a well filled out profile. IÒ€ℒll check all profiles for recent no sends and potential flakers.

i would do this swap but makes it hard the amount of time only because you really only have 1 day to mail it with no mail on sunday.

SwapFanatic - It is a fast turnaround time and not everyone can easily mail that quickly. We'll miss you on this one but maybe another time. =0)

Barbi - If there's interest, I'd be happy to host this swap again but I'd probably skip a weekend or two before running the swap again.

I'm new to this swapping thing. What are friendship books?

Friendship books (fbs) are a way to meet new penpals from around the world. They are small handmade booklets that are exchanged via mail. The receiver writes their name, contact info, and interests in the booklet and then mails it on to another potential penpal to be signed. When all the pages in the fb are full, the last person to sign it sends it back to the originator. You can Google to find out how to make fbs or feel free to pm me.

Since this swap has a fast mailing time, it is more for people who have some established fbs or new fbs that are made and ready to go. You probably don't want to sign up for this swap if you have to make all the required fbs from scratch unless you have time to make them all this weekend.

Would someone email me and tell me what a friendship is? Please do not send me to a website to look at them, that will not help me to learn it. Thanks.
