Description:

This is a loose sticker swap for grown-ups :)

I LOVE good quality stickers with beautiful natural images. I can always find a place for a pretty butterfly or hummingbird sticker. I like to seal my envelopes and attach gift tags with gorgeous stickers that are unique and add a little something to them. I'm a sucker for some glitter or chipboard or pop-up elements. Unfortunately, I have found that the majority of the stickers I've been receiving in loose sticker swaps have been too childish...or, dare I say, too cheap :(
(I think we all know which stickers come from the dollar store and which don't) I'm hoping I'm not the only one who'd like to do something a bit different!

In this swap, you'll be sending 20 nice, loose stickers at least the size of your thumbnail to 2 partners. These stickers must have an Animal (yes, bugs are included, as well as sea life) or Botanical (leaves, flowers, trees, acorns, etc.) image on them...and please make sure they are in perfect shape. Torn or folded stickers, no matter how lovely, are just not usuable.

Inspiring Words or messages are fine on the stickers, as long as there is also an animal or botanical on them. Please no reward types...like "Good Job" and no metallic/foil stickers....Remember this swap is intended for Grown-ups...perhaps to make cards with, or use in a scrapbook or collage, maybe just to have in a special collection, but something you don't automatically give to your kids when you open the envelope ;-p

I would think a #10 business size envie should be large enough. Please be sure to include a piece of cardstock or lite cardboard (like a cereal box) to ensure the stickers inside arrive safely....this is an International Swap :) Please also re-inforce if necessary...if your envie arrives torn and with stickers missing, you may be rated lower. Extra special touches are always appreciated and could possibly earn you a heart!

Please have a rating of 4.9 or higher. I can angel, but I hope this is the kind of swap that attracts those of us that would never dare flake! I understand that emergencies do come up, so please PM me if this is the case :) I'm really looking forward to this swap! Feel open to ask for any clarifications or ask questions!

Thanks so much!

Yay, this is a swap for my tastes. Will join as soon as I get a couple of other swaps out :)

@Roseanna - Would love to have you :)

Do you have some samples / pictures of what type of stickers? I would hate to send something that is "cheap" =P so I just thought (if possible) i could have a look at something to be sure...

@Chelle - I'm having issues with my computer accessing my Desktop, otherwise, I'd show you some pics of the ones I'm giving...here's a link to a nice set:

I'm not sure if that will work here. Anyways, the main goal here is to give things you'd find in a scrapbook or card magazine...things that you'd delight in...things that look like could be made from a supplier like K&Co or Basic Grey (even though they may not be). Just not something plain or obviously juvenile. I enjoy cutesy stickers, too...but I prefer them to be the kind of quality I would use in my scrapbook for my daughter, etc. Does that help? Sorry to be so long winded :)

I'm happy to have a swap like this--thanks for hosting it! A lot of the stickers I've been receiving are pretty much for kids. While I like some of that for my niece/nephew/other kids, I would love to have something nice for myself, too. Thanks! I've got them all ready to send out!

@PaintMyselfPretty yes definitely! =) I get tons of scrapbooking product cos I'm a designer / instructor at my LSS so I can dig into my scrapbooking stash corner as opposed to my kawaii corner! lol Thank you!
