Description:

You know how they always say "One man's trash is another man's treasure." Well the statement is very true. I really like and use some of the things most people toss out.

In this swap you will send your partner some "treasures" you would normally throw away. You must send your partner at least 3 items. They can be 3 of the same thing or three different things.

Upon joining, please post below or in your profile somewhere; some of the "throw away" items you use or recycle/upcycle into crafts this way your partner will know what to send you.

I like recieving bread bags and the little tabs that you pull off of the milk carton when you open it. I make plarn (plastic yarn) out of the bread bags and my cat likes to play with the milk tabs.

OK I would like the lids to Ocean Spray/Vitamin Water bottles, (or other plastic lids about 1 inch wide ) I use them for crafts and for food dishes for my hermit crabs. Also any bits of scrapbooking paper you would throw in the recycling bin, 2 inch bits or long strips (even if they are ripped/crumpled/folded), cancelled stamps off your used envelopes.

This seems like a really fun swap... just trying to think what I reuse that's an everyday item...

I'll be watching this very closely. Got a lot of trash but don't know if I can part with them...lol @ifluctuate if you happen to be my partner you'll be rich with strip/trash paper...lol Let me go think of what I 'd like to receive.

I sew and love to reuse embellishments off of old clothes, buttons, pockets from jeans and/or khakis. I use orphan earrings and broken jewelry as embellishments, too.

I like old buttons, charms, embellishment, lace, vintage and ephemera stuff.

I can use small jars with lids like baby food jars, canning jars with lids and seals, old buttons, charms, broken earrings or other costume jewelry, left over beads or misc embellishments, cotton fabric from old clothes like nice skirts with floral prints - lace, ribbon, old jeans (especially the pockets), usable zippers, fronts from vintage greeting cards, cotton fabric squares over 2.5"; cotton fabric strips more than 1" wide and selvages from the sides of fabrics.
