Description:

To continue our California alphabetical postcard swap, it’s time to send a postcard starting with letter “D”. Find a postcard that features an item, shows a name of something that begins with the letter "D" (person, place or thing in California). On the back of the post card, please print or write legibly the item that is the "D" word for your postcard.

As an example of an "D" card, you could pick a postcard with the flowers like the dandelion, daffodil, dahlia, or daisy, a dogwood flower or tree, a dog, duck, donkey or deer, the word daisy, downtown, desert, dessert, or dog, or a town beginning with the letter "D" such as Daly City, Del Mar, Desert Hot Springs or Dunsmuir.

Write the recipient's name and address on the postcard and mail (not in an envelope). You can certainly tell your partner why you chose the card too, but that is not part of the swap requirements, just a little extra nice thing to do.

I think we've all decided that we want store-bought post cards, so I'm closing this to downloaded, home printed post cards from now on. I have visited my local stores and gone through their inventories and I have a ton of post cards waiting for their day in the sun.

I reserve the right not to accept a person with a recent low rating.
