This is an ATC swap based off The Last Unicorn, a wonderful fantasy novel and film adaptation that came to us in the 80's. This film for me was a doorway into the realm of fantasy and myth as a child, and has remained a fond memory even today at age 24. The beautiful art style and charming characters make this a classic I'm sure many of us keep dearly in our hearts. For this swap you are to have two partners and are two send each a handmade ATC. Please create something you would like to receive, no stickers on card-stock, try and really capture the film in your own unique style and send your partner a little note or card with your user-name. This swap is open to users in good standing and newbies with well filled out profiles. I'll be checking up one everyone! :D Enjoy!

Oh man, I too LOVED this movie (my sister and I were huge fans, still are!) but I'm not that great at drawing and wouldn't want to do a disservice!

I loved this movie as a child and a teenager. I even bought the soundtrack, which was a German import. LOVE IT!

I'm so sad. I wanted to watch the movie before I made the ATC, for inspiration, and the DVDs of it are crap. The one from 2004 is grainy and weird and the one from 2007 is censored and the video and sound is faster than the original because of the format it was pulled from was not standard. I'm still upset that they censored it for the PC buttheads that want to impose their moral compass on everyone. It's a sad day indeed.

Yeah I have the original on VHS...lol! But I do have to say I like the grainy-ness(?) of the originals. I saw a remastered version of Wizard of Oz and yeah the colors are sharper and prettier but I prefer the old look!

Oh gosh me too! There's something totally nostalgic and great about the original VHS, I have to say I don't think I'll ever part with my Last Unicorn and The Dark Crystal VHS for that reason, it's just not the same! And they censored it?! Was there that much to censor? I mean she was nude for like.. a moment, right? Goodness how pathetic is that.
