Description:

Hi all... I'm very excited to present this swap.... it's about Survival Kits... very useful as a small, less expensive- very creative gift I've used as long as I can remember.

This gift is very guided by your partners' profile, so I've given you ten days to put it together, although searching on the internet you may find ideas very easily. You are responsible for packaging your survival kit creatively- anything from a cute jar to a cloth bag or even a shadow box type. Each content of the kit should have a quirky explaination to go with it, as in the example below, often they are puns, or plays on the title of the object. Your kit should have at least 10 things within it, and more hearts for those who match profile clues and are creative with packaging and design.

Prizes should total $3-4 to keep it affordable for all, many of these things will be found around your home. If they are, be sure they are in new condition. Be sure to type or write up a cute definition card or tag for the items.

International Ok, these aren't heavy packages, just watch the shipping rules about shipping certain things out of the US.

Suggested contents: (very generic, remember to use profile clues as your guide) A lifesaver - because they are one (a whole roll of lifesavers is very inexpensive- and better to recieve than a single one) A thumbtack or a ball point pen - to help make your point A rubber band - so you can remain flexible A jolly rancher - to keep you happy

Think about it, email me if you have any trouble coming up with things. A good example is on this site: http://familycrafts.about.com/library/projects/blsurvhockey.htm

RULES :

• Newbies allowed, with full profile.

• You must have a full profile so that your partners can use it for clues as to what types of survival contents you may 'need'.

• Ratings must be higher than 4.5. If you fall below that, you will be automatically banned from this swap.

Is this international?!

If it isn't, I'm going to be very upset!

May i ask what does it mean when it says "Date items must be sent by:"? Does it mean that my partner should receive the swap by that date? Sorry for the question, i'm still a newbie so i really want to make sure coz' i'd like to join this swap. :] Thanks.

YES... it is International.... I forgot to ad that.... It will be fun to get small things from other countries!

Date sent by refers to the date it should be post marked.... thanks for asking, I'm new too, this is my first set of hostings (currently hosting 3)...

Thanks for the inquiries.... :)

Hi KimyCate, I think this is a great idea. I'm in! I love scavenger-hunt-type swaps. =)
