Description:

Hello and welcome to my swap. The first one like it was fun & a success - so, let's have another one and trade some teas.

I like to use and try a variety of tea, however - it is impossible to buy every brand or style and so ... I thought this would be a fun swap for us & fellow tea fans to exchange some tea.

In this swap - we will be sending 10 individual - sealed, new condition tea bags to 1 (one) partner. No loose tea in this swap. Please do not send more than 2 bags of each flavor. Try to include a good mix. Check our partner's profile for taste preferences or any allergies. Although do keep in mind it is the sender's choice what is sent as long as tea is in new - sealed bag condition. If you are picky - please do not join this swap. You can list any preference if possible - but, do not demand certain tea types. Again, it is the senders choice what is sent.

Feel free to add extra bags (optional) to make your partner really happy. :)

To join - you must have at least 1 rated swap and a minimum of a 4.7 rating here at swap-bot with no recent 1's or 3's including a well filled out profile. Please plan to mail your swap within 1 week of the close of swap. Swap is international - so, you may send or receive from overseas.

If you receive tea flavors you do not like, please do not rate down for this - simply gift them as gifts with future swaps you send. Sometimes something as small as a teabag or two can make someone's day if they were not expecting them. Let's keep it happy - if you receive the swap requirement (you received at least 10 new individual sealed tea bags) - rate a 5 and if you love the teas - rate a 5 with a heart.

If you have any questions - please ask.

I prefer herbal teas, thanks! Or decaff. Don't like green or white teas, but I will be happy with whatever you send me, really! This sounds like a great swap and I am looking forward to it!

I would really love to do this swap, but I was just going through my teas and over half of them are not individually wrapped. I know I would prefer to get individually wrapped. Do the tea bags have to be individually wrapped, is that what you mean by sealed?

notme78 01/ 6/2011 #

sealed, you mean like the 1 teabag is shown on the picture right? or you mean all sealed together in 1 package?

I think that she "seal" she means is the paper (or sometimes plastic) wrap that is all around the teabag itself, usually with the brand and kind of tea written on. Just like the picture of the swap. Am I wrong?

Yes, teas do need to be individually wrapped & sealed. No loose teas for this swap please. See swap graphic photo (NOT the box) but, below the box - each of those are individually sealed bags of tea and this is what this swap is for. I hope this answers everyones question. If the tea is not in a closed - sealed bag - then it is not "sealed". This swap is for only for new - sealed tea bags. "Sealed" does not refer to the mailing envelope or box with tape. It is in reference to a new - closed - never opened tea bag which is not loose tea - (the packaging). Any other questions - speak up...

I'm in I love tea !

Darnit. My wife got me addicted to tea but we purposely buy tea bags that don't have the extra packaging since it creates so much extra waste. Maybe next time.
