Description:

Have you ever read Found Magazine or it's website?

It's more addictive than the Post Secrets' postcards.

Here's the challenge: Look for "found" items. Look for them everywhere: stuck inside library books, laying around curbs, between pages in a used book store, a waiting room's couch, left at a table in a coffee shop... its not as easy as it sounds to come up with. You may find eight or nine items, but only three of those might be interesting. You'll have a month before the sign up period ends and another month afterward to find and mail THREE pieces of "FOUND" notes, lists, ephemera. (must be paper or picture oriented and be able to be mailed in a flat envelope). Smaller than 8.5"x11" please.

Mail ONE FOUND object to each of your three partners.

Step two of this swap involves turning the found object into a miniature piece of art. Details to be posted at another time. Must be member in good standing.

Questions? PM me!!

Edited to add: Please include a note (long or short) about how and where you found the "find"!!

ooooh sounds so intriguing! I'm watching now and snooping through things starting this morning! :)

Oh man! This makes me wish I'd saved some of the weird crap I've found. I'm always on the lookout for anything I might use in crafting - will just look more closely at the paper stuff. =)
