Description:

Hi everyone!

Taking the items you received in 'A is for... part 1': and a sheet of paper, approx A5 in size, you will create a scrapbook page based around the letter 'A' is for... which you will then exchange with your partner. you may use extra items with your materials such as glitter, glue, deco tape, paint, ink, felt-tips/crayons, tissue paper or drawings to decorate the page (depending on what you received in part 1)

just to re-cap for those who need a reminder / missed part 1: This swap will ultimately be in several parts, (26 x 2 to be exact) the end goal is to end up with an alphabetic journal / scrap book where each page has been made by a different swap-bot user. In part, 'A is for...part1' your task was to select small items such as; stickers, brads, buttons, sequins, craft papers, stamps, charms, motifs, recipe cards, fabric, magazine cut-outs, flyers, postcards etc that have a relation to the letter 'A' such as; Apple, Angel, Antelope, angles (for the mathematicians amongst us) aliens, animals, characters or celebrities who's name begins with A, ie Avril Lavigne, landmarks beginning with A, Ace (playing card symbol) astronaut, atari, anything you want, but keep it fairly clean (as in no Anus) these were then be sent to your partner for them to use to create a scrapbook page, approximately A5 in size. in part two of this swap, you would make a page using the items you received, then exchange this page with another user. sender's choice, can keep it low cost, under $5.50 /£4 / €5 for items and postage.

If you're late joining this swap (missed part 1) then you may either (a) make up a page using materials you have selected yourself to exchange with a partner (providing there are enough participants), or, (b) wait until a catch-up swap occurs to receive what materials / pages you are missing. - this will be organised in a few months time *

newbies are welcome with a well-filled out profile. I will ban anyone who appears to be a persistent flaker, but I am aware that life does sometimes get in the way, so I will allow those with a current rating of 3. (give you a chance to redeem yourself) I am happy to angel this swap and would like volunteers to help with this if it is necessary. *This is my first time hosting a swap, so any advice is welcome *

hi i would like to start joining the swap, it sounds like alot of fun and am happy to find my own "A" items to make up my page for part 2.

I love your idea, but I am a bit afraid about sending time. Send by for part one is Febr. 28 and sendby for part two is three weeks later. As for international post it might be too short to finish the page with the materials I got. Sometimes letters from the US take more than two weeks to arrive and vice versa.

I'd like to join this swap too but missed part 1. Maybe "friends" and I could be partners for the second part of this swap?

I'm going to extend the sending time as only 1 of 3 of us from part one has indeed received her package, despite them all being sent in plenty of time.

swap-bot itself chooses the pairings up, (once i've hit 'assign partners') so you could be placed with somebody making a page from items received in part 1, or somebody making a page from their own materials. as it's for 1 partner it makes no difference how many sign up.
