**this is an international swap

what does everyone do with their embroidery swaps? i have a nie little collection and came up with the idea to create a crazy quilt style wall-hanging.

as i mentioned i have a few peices but not nearly enough so for this swap....

you will create two seperate pieces of embroidery(the fabric can be whatever you have in your stash in any size...at least 3-5 inhes each and any shape, the embroidery can be as simple and random little flowers or edging for example or an entire scene.)

then....

stitch them together in "crazy quilt style"(see links below) and send them to one partner.

for some hearts include some extra thread, beads, fabric, trims, buttons, needles for your partner to use later:)

i think the nice thing with this crazy quilt style is we can practice our stitches, it uses whats allready in our stash, and anything goes! what could be better?

**please do not rate your partner on their embroidery talent only that there are 2 seperste pieces of embroidery measuring about 3-5 inches each & that they have been stithed together as one piece. embellishment with buttons, beads etc. is always optional.

i will run this swap every month until i have a decent size wall hanging...(at the end of the run i will post some nice instructions how to make a fabric wallhanging) please join in as you feel to, every month or just whenever:)

as a side note....once you have collected sufficent amount of embroidered fabric pieces you will have to do the final asemblage youself, i will also create a flickr group where you can (please) post your photos of each piece you complete...i think its nice to see progress...it is not mandatory to join if you want to be in this swap though.just appreciated:)

no swappers with ratings of less than 4.8, new to embroidery...you are most welcome, no newbies with 0 ratings by the time of the send date......there will always be the next one for you to join....no no sends without a good explination...........flakers will be tarred and feathered!!!!LOL

any questions please contact me thru swap-bot
