Number of swap partners:2
Description:

This swap is for those of us that have a stash of lovely postcards that we send out - but we look at some of them and think "I'd love to have that one written and stamped for my collection"! I love collecting naked and stamped postcards, empty ones just don't do much for me.

ONE postcard each to TWO partners.

So, three steps---

  1. Pick out two cards from your unwritten stash that you'd love to have someone send you written and stamped.

  2. Send each of your partners ONE postcard in an envie - make sure you include a note to say what swap this is for! You can even go ahead and put your name and address on it if you'd like - and even include postage IF YOU WANT (not required) but in case you want a certain stamp from your collection or something.

  3. Once you receive the postcard from your partner, then write something interesting on the back, stamp it, and send it back to them!

Rating---

Since this is done out of the norm, the rating will come when you send your postcard in an envie to your partner and they receive it.

Getting it back written on will be done on the honor system. It would be great if when you receive your postcard back you could go to their profile and let them know you've received it - you can also let us know here you received it in a note on the swap if you'd rather!

Don't join if you can't meet the requirements. I will NOT be nice to those that do not return the postcards to their partners!!

Rules---

Due to the nature of this swap, I will only accept swappers with a 4.9 rating (NO 1's at ALL for any reason - sorry) - no newbies this time, sorry. I want to lessen the chance of flaking with the more in depth rules this requires. Newbie to me is someone that has no ratings yet, and has only a handful of swaps under their belt.

NOTE: Don't send a postcard you will be extremely upset if you lose, as we've had only one major snafu during 9 of these swaps where someone did not get back the postcard and it was a rare postcard that they were very upset they lost.

LOL I don't know why those number words are in big letters!
It's not like there were other people besides me that misunderstood! It all worked out. and I wasn't the only one for the record

Just a thought I had. It would speed up the return of the postcard if each swapper did include postage. Since this is an International swap.It will save your partner the time of running off to the post office for the correct postage. If you add your own postage you postcard can return to you much sooner.Just a thought. :)

I personally think that a lot of the fun of receiving a postcard is the unique and country-specific postage. I personally will not be including postage (sorry guys) because I just love seeing all the stamps form other countries on my postcards.

I don't think the postage thing will work, If I drop a postcard in the mail here (USA) with postage from Canada (for example) the USPS is just going to return it for postage.

No, no blue don't think those caps were for you! It's just how I write to make sure it's clear lol. There were several that misunderstood so I wanted to make sure it was clear it's not a jab at anyone!! :)

And yes, if it were only USA we could do the postage but putting american postage on a card that's being sent from overseas will not be helpful at all. I agree that part of the fun are the lovely stamps you get from other countries. :)

Thank you all so much for being part of this series.

What counts as only a handful of ratings? I have a stack of cards I can't bear to part with so I'd love to participate.
