January is the right time for sewing, sending and receiving icicle dolls.

For this swap, you will have 2 partner and you will make 1 icicle doll for each partner.

Easily to sew, take a look at this tutorial The tall should be arround 12 cm - about 4.5 ".

Please try to use icicle (cold) colors like aqua, tuerkis, blue, indigo, violet, magenta and/or mixed with white.

Must have a rating of at least 4.8 and no no-sends. Newbies welcome, with a completed profile.

I'm really enjoying creating little art dolls. This is just an idea, but I'm curious to know how people would feel about doing a monthly (or bi-monthly) doll swap?

I love making little art dolls too, so yes, that's exactly the kind of swap that interests me the most. I have completed one Dotee Doll swap and am currently signed up in 3 other doll swaps.

What made me think about swapping icicle dolls monthly was this page: http://belindaschneider.wordpress.com/category/icicle-dolls/ Scroll all the way down (there's more towards the bottom of the page.) It just made me think of all the different themes that could be done through out the year.

There has been some discussion in the forums about the faces for these dolls. Is it required that they be printed on fabric like the samples? Or can they be painted or clay or whatever?
