I am outraged! There is no holiday to celebrate Gnomes. There is a fairy day but no gnome holiday so lets have a Gnome Celebration swap.

First lets make a Gnome holiday our group started in August so why not Gnome Day Aug 3! . Next send your partner a package with Gnome holiday related items, 5 things you would use at a Gnome Holiday party...examples but not limited too

  • Gnome Cup cake toppers
  • Gnome Napkins (I have never seen but think creatively)
  • Gnome Flag
  • Gnome Balloons
  • Gnome Center piece
  • Gnome invitations
  • Gnome Food ideas( think creatively people or gnome food)
  • Gnome decorations
  • Gnome game (pin the hat on gnome, hide and seek gnome etc...) the possibilities are truly endless. Hand made or store bought or a combination of all Most of all have fun with this swap and perhaps let your partner know what you will be doing for this Gnome Day. You will have more then a month to sign up and You will have a month to send to your partner. Please join in this could be a wonderful annual tradition.

This is a big swap but I'm going to try it. It will be fun thinking up the gnome games. How many should be planned for at the party? 6? 8? 12?

Karen just let me know that 4-6 party attendees was enough. Just thought I'd share the info.

I'm good with you pushing out the send by date - no one should have to drive 3 hours to post something. Swap-bot is supposed o be for fun :0) That would make it a burden!

Just my thoughts........... Vicki

I understand that the postal strike may be legislated back to work next week so I will be posting either in Canada or driving to send from the USA, I really want to thank you for joining and I am going to start work now on my items! Thanks again Karen

@Karenmomofthree - I am your receiving partner and I will understand if the package is late. Please don't drive 3 hours to mail it. I can wait and you can rest assured, you will receive a "5". I just love your swaps. My package is ready to go but I have to find a big box to mail it in. This was a lot of fun.
