this is an international swap

since i love crafting handmade things, swapping and am also low on funds i wanted to start this small gift exchange swap everyone can afford.

keep the price around 5USD plus shipping. the gift can be anything handmade, check your partners profile if you like or suprise them with something you just love making.

a good swap for using extra, or leftover crafting supplies, we all have those!:)

keep it simple, good things come in small packages....be open to receiving a suprise gift, thats part of the fun of swapping, isnt it?

enjoy!

if 2 partners seems costly post a comment and i will reduce it down to 1:)

Hi Christel: Thanks so much for the great handpainted fridge magnets for my collection! The food happy faces gave me quite a chuckle, and the postcards of your own artwork were also quite a nice surprise. Merry Christmas to you and your daughter in an even further northern climate than I! Tassy

cristina584: I haven't received anything yet - could you please advise when it was sent? Thx!

vidriosa 12/18/2006 #

So many days after the end of the swap and still nothing from either of my partners, this is really disheartening...

TerryF 12/21/2006 #

Hi Vidriosa: I know what it is like to not get anything in a swap, so.....I have sent you some handmade eclectic ornaments which I think you and your kids will get a kick out of! I am not a wonderful artist like you, but I hope you enjoy them anyway. They are coming from Canada so you won't have them for Christmas but hopefully you will get them by Little Christmas on January 6! Best wishes for a very Merry Christmas! Tassy

Hi Tassy, Wow, thanks so much for being an angel -I'll let you know when they arrive ! Bless you ! JoAnna

vidriosa 01/11/2007 #

Tassy ! Thanks so much, they're so cool - you will have to share your secrets, we tried and tried to figure them out! JoAnna

TerryF 01/12/2007 #

Hi Vidriosa: You're very welcome. They are plastic glasses from the dollar store, painted with permanent markers and then melted in an oven. Instructions are at familycrafts.about.com/cs/treeornaments/a/blstglorn.htm

I made them with my 12 year old niece and we had had a lot of fun watching them melt!
