Description:

This swap will be all about felt. All your creations will have to be made out of felt. Glue may be used but they have to be primarily sewn .You will make 4 creations of which each has to be a representaion of one of the 4 projects,

  • firstly make something useful to your partner (ie: pin cushion or needlebook etc.)
  • secondly, make a wallet or holder of sorts. It can be a cellfone pouch, tea wallet or a business card holder etc.
  • third is representation of life which means a doll or animal or a plant or anything which is living.
  • lastly is abstract or wilcard. Somthing which is just creative and does not need to be useful or handy but just nice to look at.

Each catagory is up to your own interpretation, to do with as you see fit. Here is the twist. You are to message your partner with 4 possible themes and your partner is free to choose one, two or all to use as inspiration for their project. It can be a colour , season, style or anything that best describes what you like. This swap should not cost too much to send as felt is light and there is more than enough time to send something nice.

Here are some sites to help you along that I find very useful

or you could just google because there are tons of ideas and tutorials out there. So, just to recap, 1 partner- 4 items.

Have fun and please feel free to message me with any questions or concerns.

Very cool swap Nasreen :) Will need to see if I'm up for it (going away in July for 10 days - which eats into my crafting time - meh). On watchlist for now :)
