Description:

Here's a re-run of a swap I did a couple of years ago. Let's do it again!

Let's expand our postcard collections with some cards that feature Natural Phenomena. This isn't just any old "nature" picture. I'm talking about unusual things that occur in nature. It could be geological formations like picture rocks or interesting caves; it could be images of things in space like nebulae; a strange plant that grows only one place in the world; or even an animal if it's rare and interesting. This must be a "store-bought" card and it does have to be a photo. No drawings, paintings, or made up things. These phenomena should be the "real thing"!

So, start hunting for things that will really WOW your partners!

Open to Newbies but I'll check profiles and ratings of all participants before assigning partners. No recent 1s or 3s.

You'll have 2 partners and send one postcard (naked only, please) to each one. Tell your partner why you chose the card you sent.

Have fun and happy hunting!

I am a newbie, but I am very excited by this swap. I live in Alaska and I like sending postcards of our scenery to people in different parts of the world.

Reading, I'm glad to have you in the swap. Thanks for playing!

I'm also new. I think naked means in an envelope. Yes?

@Jafferty Naked Postcards – A postcard which is sent directly in the mail with a stamp – NOT sent in an envelope. Handmade envelopes can also be described as being sent “naked,” which means they are NOT sent within another protective envelope.

From the Swap-bot Glossary http://blog.swap-bot.com/swap-craft-term-glossary/

Great! That is the way I prefer them. Thanks for clarifying. Also thanks for telling me about the glossary. That's good to know.

You're welcome, I prefer them that way too :) There are various helpful links on the bottom of Swap-bot pages, well worth taking a peek.
