This swap is for all those little scraps of scrapbooking paper, embellishments, brads, ribbon etc that you can never find a use for. You can also include images for atc or card making if you notice your partner likes to make atcs or cards.

it all must fit into regular or business sized envelope. (make sure it is STUFFED!) extras are encouraged along with giving a heart to anyone who you can see took the time to look at your profile to see what your like. Please don`t send junk. Send your partner nice papers and paper scraps similar to what you would like to receive.

Please don`t forget to add a note or card with the swap name and your user name.

New swappers welcome but you must have a complete profile and no one should have too many swaps on the go. It`s harder to put time into a nice package when you have a million to send out.

Enjoy!

Cool idea for a swap! It drives me nuts when people sign up for cardmaking/atc/papercraft supplies swaps and they say in their profile they hate to receive "paper scraps"... I always have to wonder what exactly they mean by that, how small the paper can be and not be a "scrap" LOL.... does it have to be a whole 12 x12 sheet? I don't think I'm going to send them that if the swap says we are sending a 6 x 9 envelope and not to fold things! Anyway if you can give me a precise definition of what people mean when they say "paper scrap" that would be nice.

Well, this IS for all your paper scraps. It would be nice to mix it up with other sized papers too....just papers and other embellishments you haven't used or bits of paper you saved after using part of it because it was nice but never ended up using. I have BAGS of "cut offs"

I will be sending a mixture of papers the same size as the envelope and little bits of nice paper I have saved that are about the width of a measuring tape but long enough to use on the side of an atc.... Of course along with bits of ribbon that I have had for awhile and not used...and some embellishments. Nothing crumpled, nothing garbage like. I will mix it up a bit and send some small bits or "cut offs" of pretty paper I have used in the past AND card size paper that I won't use that I got from other paper swaps.

I will look at my partners profile and try to stick to their preferred colours to make it more personable.

Did this answer your question?

My profile says no paper scraps but, I clarify. I do want paper scraps as long as you don't call them scraps because they are torn.

I am a newbie! So that I don't mess up my first "swap", I have a couple questions... 1- How will I know who I am sending my stuff to? 2- What size Envelope are we suppose to use?

I am excited to participate! Can't wait to swap!

Hi Raeanna! 1) As soon as swap-bot is ready (and lets me click the button to do it), it will assign partners. YOu can click and check who you send to in the next few hours in the yellow box on the top right of this screen.

Please fill a standard sized or business sized envelope with paper scraps.
