Hi! I'm Inge, 23 and living in Belgium. I've got a master in archaeology and one in cultural studies and am currently working on getting certified as a translator (English - French - Dutch)

I'm into all sorts of music, I just dislike techno and house and the likes. If I have to name one performer: Patrick Bruel. As for the rest: I dunno... I'm very eclectic when it comes to music :p

I love to read.
I love my classics and I admit to read Pride and Prejudice at least once a year. When I say classics I also mean Greek and Roman authors. (hey, I'm an archaeologist; stop frowning :p) As for the rest: love historical fiction, romance, fantasy, drama, sometimes even some chicklit :p. I'm also into scifi, so I don't really mind reading that either. At the moment I'm reading a lot on naval warfare, both novels and non-fiction, since I'm a total nerd when it comes to 19th century naval warfare.

Movies are always tricky. I can enjoy a bombastic Hollywood blockbuster, but in the end I think I prefer more alternative things. I love foreign movies actually, and oldies. To list a few: Serenity, Mio Fratello è Figlio Unico, La Môme, Hector, Where the Truth Lies, La Piscine, ...

Firefly, How I Met Your Mother, Dr Who, Torchwood, Secret Diary of a Call Girl, Grey's Anatomy (season 2), Private Practice (not really fangirling, just watching), Pushing Daisies, Cold Case, Skins, Rome, ...

tastes:

Adores: chocolate, fruits (especially the red berries and tangerines), cookies, speculaas, all things sweet, ...
Dislikes: vanilla (used to love it, but now I get nauseous of the smell). It's ok in cookies and the likes, just not purely vanilla-taste...

Treasures: - Tea and teasets : I have 2 antique English sets at home and some more eastern designs as well; and I just love tea. - Books : Collect old and pretty books - and just books in general - Boats : model kits of frigates and ships of the line; they're pretty and keep me occupied for hours
