I'm 35 and I live on the (UK) Channel Island of Guernsey. I recently became a new Mum to Tabitha (yes, named after the character in Bewitched!).

I've been a proper vegetarian for about 25 years but I'm not militant, I believe each to their own.

I'm back at work now as website manager for www.Rip101.com. Before that I worked for a skincare clinic, in banking and as an 'at home' stock market trader (yes, my careers have been diverse :o) I'm very independant and will turn my hand to anything that needs doing.

I speak fluent French and have recently started learning Spanish.

Current aims (July 2011): I'd like to try learning crochet (thanks to my best pal Lunarwillow for inspiring me!) or soap/perfume/candle making.

When I have the time I love cross stitching, making (and eating!) cakes, reading, playing on my beloved DS Lite, sewing/dressmaking and diy.

I like to cross stitch proper art images (I'm working on a very complicated one of Monet's poppies!) or something unusual and bright such as the designs of Michael Powell Cross Stitch

I love logic based DS games such as Professor Layton and in particular the Ace Attorney series.

I love witches and have a growing collection of broomsticks and witch themed items. I also have a much treasured singing bowl as well as a small collection of dowsing pendulums as I'm pretty nifty at remote viewing dowsing.

I absolutely love Angels and have recently started collecting items on this theme, including Angel cards, books and figures.

I have a huge amount of books, I particularly love Somerset Maugham. I don't like much modern fiction and tend to stick to classics or vintage books (I'm a self confessed literary snob!).

I also have far too much makeup but can never have enough, especially pale pink lip gloss and gel liner :o)

Lastly my other main collection is of Staffordshire Enamels, I love the workmanship and tiny surprises in the lids :o)
