My name is Melissa and I currently live in the New York area. I have little King Charles Cavalier Spaniel, Zooey Magnolia and a lovely boyfriend who I adore named Robert.

I have been working in the music industry for a number of years, and had started my own music publicity company almost 7 years ago.

I love dogs, Blythe dolls, sewing, cute fabric, painting, writing, drawing, colorful things, Charlie Brown , owls, you name it

Favorite Music

The National, Beirut, Real Estate, of Montreal, Sloan, Someone Still Loves You Boris Yeltsin, The Strokes...mostly anything with a nice 'indie' sound to it.

Books of essays for some weird reason....Busy Phillips, Samantha Irby, Abbi Jacobson

Girls, Conan, Bobs Burgers, Broad City, 2 Broke Girls

Mistaken for Strangers, Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist, Almost Famous, Bohemian Rhapsody

Favorite Crafts

Making doll dresses and clothes, especially for my Blythes. Sewing plushies and sock creatures. Painting and drawing.

Patterns/Fabric/Colors

I pretty much like any fabric or material as long as it is not made of a dead animal. I'm not a big fan of fur fake or real, but especially not real lol. I also don't dig floral prints....well like 'grandma' floral prints.

All colors are fine with me!

All patterns are fine with me too :) I usually like funky things, retro, vintage, mod, etc. I'm not too big on big 'pink and green florals' though.

Things I Don't Like

I DISLIKE DISNEY RELATED ITEMS. I also don't usually like to get food and candy in the mail. Most times it melts before it even gets to me in which case it becomes 'mystery food'.
