Hello hello!

I live in Tacoma, Washington (USA). Prior to moving back here in 2022, I lived in the Midwest for nearly eight years. I live with my dog, Lola (IG: @granola_lola ; she loves to bark to squirrels and is scared of basically everything on the planet (we're working on it). In my free time, I love to find a new lake and walk around it with Lola, all while playing Pokemon Go and taking photos of unique scenery. I also knit (slowly) and go to weekly trivia with friends. I'm teaching myself how to use watercolors, which is a true test of patience. I work at a university and work directly with students through orientation and student involvement.

I've been writing to penpals consistently since 2016 (off-and-on since I was a kid) and enjoy swapping goodies with them along with our letters, so Swap-Bot seemed like a fun thing to get involved in! Snail mail brings me joy and I love sending things to folks - happy mail is the best mail!

Things I Enjoy - knitting - drinking tea - my dog (and all animals, really) - plants - adventuring to new places & traveling - board games - Pokemon - Lord of the Rings - LGBTQ stuff! I’m proudly Queer 🌈 - Social Justice, Equity work, Black Lives Matter (I'm pretty darn liberal, so you can send me anything connected to liberal stuff). Free Palestine. Fuck ICE.

Stationery things I love and use - washi tapes! Any and all kinds, but I love solid colors and floral patterns - Cute animals! I love kawaii sorts of items, too - Blank labels - Airmail items - Pages from books (old books, dictionaries, song books, etc.) - Neutral toned paper (ivory, brown, peach, etc.) for decorating my journal - Little scrap pieces of paper of patterns, solid colors, anything! - Random postcards that I can use for Postcrossing - Lisa Frank or replica items - The 80s! CareBears, Rainbow Bright - Sanrio - Witchy vibes (gemstones, black cats, herbs, dark color moods, etc.) - Halloween!

Things I don't often use or prefer - Scrapbook stickers (3D) - Planner stickers or pages - Christian items (I'm not religious, so most religious items won't get used by me)

• Please do not send me AI-generated postcards or images. AI causes great harm to the environment and the people in communities with data centers. I encourage you to avoid using AI, especially generative AI.
• My username is a carry-over from many years ago. Unfortunately, I can no longer support the Harry Potter franchise due to J.K.Rowling's transphobic agenda; the wellbeing of Trans folks is more important that any sentimental feelings I have about the books. Please do not send me HP items or postcards if you can avoid it. Thank you.
