Hi there! I'm a home-bodied creative who would really like a pen pal. I like reading, writing, cuddling with my cats, and crocheting! My favorite color (right now, haha) is pink. I also enjoy DnD, including the actual-play shows around it like Critical Role!

I'm hoping to find, ultimately, a few long-term pals I can write to about anything and everything. I'm excited to indulge in the snail-mail of it all!

I am a pet parent to two lovely cats named Jet and Wilbur (we call him Wilby). I love them dearly, and I would describe myself as a cat person — though I also adore dogs! Just not as much. In my free time, I also volunteer at a cattery for an animal rescue.

I enjoy things that are a little witchy: I collect tarot decks and crystals, and have been known to make some moon water every now and again. I hope to practice a bit more, I’ve kind of fallen off recently!

Some of my favorite books are murder mysteries. When I was younger I was charmed by Agatha Christie -- with a soft spot for Hercule Poirot. I was once an avid bookworm, and I have been trying to get back to that. While I prefer fiction to non-fiction, I don't think there's anything I won't read.

...though, don't expect me to go jumping for horror books.

Currently, I am reading Carmilla for my book club! My last finished book was What We Can Know by Ian McEwan. I’m hoping to write my own book one day, though I’m not sure what exactly it will be about just yet.

I am a semi-crafty person! I have been crocheting since 2018. I have attempted to teach myself knitting, though I'm still quite slow at it. My favorite projects to make are either sweaters, cardigans, or blankets. I like to be very comfy.

I also like drawing, traditionally and digitally, though I do more digital art nowadays. Painting also brings me a lot of joy, though I don't do it as much as I would like. I also love collecting stickers, but I can never find a good place to put them!

I’d like to start collecting postcards and other cute things! I love Halloween and Christmas. I would love to receive postcards with photos of pretty vistas, or lighthouses! I also love anything silly with cats, or a bad joke!

A craft that I’m hoping to get into more is sewing. I have a sewing machine that I need to fix up, and already I have a decent amount of scraps. I’m hoping to make some bags at the least — I have a pattern for a tote — but maybe one day I could branch out into clothes making! Especially cosplays.

I usually freeze when I’m asked for my top 3 movies, or top 3 anything, but thinking about it, I have a soft spot for rom-coms / movies in general from the early 200s / late 90s. Some of my favorites are The Devil Wears Prada, Miss Congeniality, and Practical Magic. (Yes, there is a very strong fondness for Sandra Bullock and Anne Hathaway…)

I also am very fond of movies like But I’m A Cheerleader and The Birdcage! I’m hoping to build a collection of movies on DVD some day. (:
