Hi!

I am a mid twenties Brooklynite, I love my city and am a proud resident. I am originally from the midwest and attended college in the southwest, so I have a vast appreciation for, well, everything! I love, LOVE skylines of cities (New York being one of my favorites).

I am a self-proclaimed crafter - I knit, love paper craft, photography, sewing, collage and will try any craft once. I also love to cook and appreciate new recipes. I LOVE photobooths, I try to take my photo in any booth I find, and love seeing other's photos and vintage strips.

I love vintage style (40s and 50s especially but not exclusively). Especially vintage ladies, for example pin up girls, pulp, etc.

I will gladly accept handmade postcards - I love receiving a little piece of art! I like themes of all kinds. Feel free to send me promotional postcards from your local bars or restaurants, or totally random ones, I love verity! I also am not easily offended, so if your postcards have nudity or cursing… I won’t take offense.

Paper Crafts (cards, scrapbooking), knitting, crochet, sewing

Favorite Music

I love jazz, blues (billie and ella), some pop (love me some gaga), old school country (patsy), love the oldies, rock and roll, and (yes I'll admit it) show tunes. So, a little bit of everything.

Favorite Books

The Sookie Stackhouse books, Water for Elephants, Marie Antoinette: The Journey, Blonde, Shop girl, so many others, I will try to update as I remember more!

Favorite Television

True Blood, Downton Abbey, New Girl

Favorite Movies

Any Johnny Depp movie, Shop girl, old musicals (White Christmas, Fiddler, Cabaret, etc),

Likes/Collections

any unique crafty or handmade item, Marylin Monroe/pin up girls (vintage ones), cupcakes, food in general, cookbooks & recipes, vintage anything, Halloween, holidays, knee socks, knitting, yarn bombing...

Favorite Color: Green

ATC cards - at the moment I don't collect or send these, however they become more interesting to me everyday, so this may eventually end up in my likes section ;)

Comment: Lina! These are the best cards I've ever had for a scavenger hunt - thank you for reading my bio! Once I got a scavenger hunt partner who sent six cards from her home state all manipulated to fit the description of the swap. It got to be funny 'cuz she had to be really creative to make the cards fit... LOL! It's hard to pick a favourite from yours... I think either "frog on bird" or "boys in cups". Thanks again!
