Profile Love; I am sharing one of my favourite recipes with you;

Flapjacks;

INGREDIENTS 150g soft brown sugar 225g or 275g block butter (see intro) 1 rounded tablespoon golden syrup 350g porridge oats ADDITIONAL Pre-heat the oven to 150°C, gas mark 2 METHOD First place the sugar, butter and golden syrup together in a saucepan and heat it gently until the butter has melted, giving it a stir now and then.

Take the saucepan off the heat and stir in the porridge oats, mixing thoroughly. Now pour the mixture into the prepared tin and press it out evenly, using the back of a tablespoon or your hand. Bake near the centre of the oven for 40–45 minutes. Then allow the mixture to cool in the tin for 10 minutes before cutting into oblong bars. Leave them in the tin until they’re quite cold before removing them to store in an airtight tin.

For chocolate-dipped flapjacks: use 110g melted milk chocolate (for children) or dark chocolate (for adults) in a wide bowl, and dip them lengthways 5mm deep into the chocolate (just to cover one side).

Saw this and thought it was so cute for you!

One of my favorite quotes that is so fitting for swap-bot: "Creativity takes courage" -Henri Matisse

Hello! I'm spreading the profile love for September.
My favorite book is World War Z by Max Brooks.

This is a unique take on the zombie genre and is one of the few books I've read that actually scared me. It's nothing like the movie that was made a few years ago. I highly recommend it.

Profile Love - September

cat

"She sat down on one of her grandmother's uncomfortable armchairs, and the cat sprang up into her lap and made itself comfortable. The light that came through the picture window was daylight, real golden late-afternoon daylight, not a white mist light. The sky was a robin's-egg blue, and Coraline could see trees and, beyond the trees, green hills, which faded on the horizon into purples and grays. The sky had never seemed so sky, the world had never seemed so world ... Nothing, she thought, had ever been so interesting." - Neil Gaiman, Coraline
