Depending on the day, I'm an artist first, teacher second or teacher first, artist second.

Hmmm, think my art experiences go back to playing in the mud at our cabin to making candles with my mom out in the garage on rainy days to painting on the easel in kindergarten (as I recall, I spent a lot of time at the easel) to trying almost any art or craft I could get my hands on. After graduating college and getting my first credential, I took a couple years off to get my Bachelor of Arts degree in Art Education. Just for me.

Response: You're so welcome. Thanks for the wonderful comment. Yes, that's just paint on the background. I usually dab on a few shades of blue and use a credit card to blend; think that's what I did.

It couldn't be more perfect, unless you happened to send me a bunch of vintage postage stamps, too. Oh, wait...you DID send me a bunch of vintage postage stamps! That makes this swap one of the best ever!

Response: It's just gloss mod podge. I usually use matte, but for some reason shiny has been my go to lately. Depends on the project I guess.
