I'm currently reading People of the Book
by Brooks, Geraldine. I'm reading this book for my Multicultural Book Club. So far the book is about a book conservator who is called into work on the famed Sarajevo Haggadah. The Sarajevo Haggadah has been saved from bombings and fires caused by the Bosnian war. The book is now turning into the history of the artifact. It is quite an interesting read!
I'm currently reading Wool by Hugh Howey. It's a post-apocalyptic story. Here's the synopsis:
"Thousands of them have lived underground. They've lived there so long, there are only legends about people living anywhere else. Such a life requires rules. Strict rules. There are things that must not be discussed. Like going outside. Never mention you might like going outside.
