About Me

I like to make things to swap from time to time, so that's why I'm here. I'm Paula at Ravelry, if you're there too.

Favorite colors

I like pastels. I like cool colors (as opposed to warm colors--do not like red or orange much).

Knitting

I love to knit socks. I like to dye yarn and roving. I live where scarves and mittens and gloves aren't that useful. I occasionally knit sweaters. I knit things I can felt (yes, I know that isn't the technical term when something's knit then shrunk, that's fulling).

Favorite things

Paris.Provence.Pacific Ocean.Animal Crossing. Coronation Street.Firefly.Art dolls.Yarn. Travel.Chocolate.More yarn.Gilmore Girls.Dr Who MST3K.Fabric (cotton in quirky prints particularly). My brain's seized up, hope this is enough helpful stuff.

Favorite Crafts

Mostly fiber arts: I knit, crochet, sew, embroider, and more. I'm learning to spin. I sometimes do altered books. I do things with beads (embellishing other things, not usually jewelry). Sometimes I make shrines and other 3 dimensional constructions. Some quilting.

The fabric book will be fun to create as a coffetable book, I love the cloud socks (one can never have too many socks) and the mini books are just adorable! I've never seen the bath tea but can't wait to try it! My little guy has enjoyed the Christmas carol cd and I'm amazed at the amount of foam stamps that you sent! 11 of them! You were way generous!! If i could give 2 hearts I would!!!
