About Me

Hi! My name is Charlotte Huntley and I love this site! There are so many incredible people here and I love "meeting" you all through swaps!

Meanwhile, even though I remember when the Beatles were young, I continue to learn about life, about other people, and about God. I can tell you life is exciting, amazing and intensely interesting, with lots of laughter in the mix.

I live in the Wisconsin, and I love to travel. I also love to hear about what it's like where you live. And I love nature - I am fascinated with the mysteries and power of nature, as well as the amazing scenery around the globe!

Water is one of my loves, including water scenes, water sports, and water inhabitants.

Comment: /thanks for the lovely postcards. Stump Henge looks like the kind of place I would go and sit. I have visited Stonehenge in England and Foamhenge, when it was in Natural Bridge, VA. I understand it has moved.

The flowers are so pretty! :) The Dambo Trolls seem really cool, I hope they're still around when it gets a bit warmer!! I really want to go see them! Too bad you just missed them! Also, that's so cool, you know the area!! I grew up in Council Bluffs, too :) always lived in the area. We lived not too far from Christy Creme, if you remember that! I always loved to walk there with my friends during the summer :)
Response: Small world! I got my first teaching job out at Lewis Central. The house we rented on East Pierce St. is no longer there; some medical center is there now.

Comment: Thanks for the lovely postcards, including the extra. In all the trips we have made to AZ and NM and hiked in the deserts, we have yet to see a rattlesnake. My granddaughter wants to see one so much. Her mother and I too. Not so much my wife and younger daughter.
Response: You're welcome! Maybe someday you'll see a rattlesnake from a safe distance! We don't have many snakes around here, but I heard there are lots of rattlers on the Mississippi shoreline. No, thanks!
