I’m a 26 year old snail mail and stationery enthusiast. I love all things paper - planners, journals, stickers, letters, postage stamps, you name it. I penpal and postcross and I’ve ventured to Swap-Bot in the hopes of exchanging more postcards as well as handmade paper crafts (ATCs, postcards, etc. - at the moment I’m a beginner and not super confident in mine, though!)
A little about me…
I have four mini Australian Shepherds, whose names are Wendy Darling, Mr. Banks, Peaches, and Gus Gus. I don’t have any kids, but I make up for it by spoiling the Aussie Posse rotten.
As you may have gathered from my dogs’ names, I’m a huge fan of Disney - parks and movies (my favorites being Hercules, The Emperor’s New Groove, and Lilo and Stitch.)
I’m a bookworm who enjoys middle grade and young adult fiction/fantasy. However, recently I’ve been trying to broaden my horizons and explore other genres and more contemporary fiction. If you have any recommendation that aren’t very romance heavy (I’m an aromantic prude, apparently), I’d love to check them out.
My personal aesthetic can pretty much be summed up with a Google Images search of “pastel vintage photography”. I LOVE quaint and pastel things- one of the most random things that has ever delighted me was a mint-colored fire hydrant in Boulder, Colorado. Had I been a good photo-taker, that would be framed on my wall, as well as a baby pink Fiat I saw on my FB timeline the other day!
At various times throughout my life I’ve been distantly interested in more crafts and hobbies than I can name, but I’ve never really committed to any of them. I’m at a point in my life where I want to remedy that and really devote myself to more creative endeavors, staring with mail/paper art here. If time and money weren’t an object, other things I would dabble in include learning ALL the languages, playing musical instruments (violin, cello, piano), photography, woodworking, and pottery among MANY others.
Some of my nerdier interests include video games and anime/manga- I’ll go into favorite fandoms in a separate section because there’s a LOT.
I’m sure I’ll add to this section in time but there’s a bit to start out with!
IMPORTANT: if you receive any swaps from me with postage due, please let me know and I’ll be happy to send you the postage to make up for it! I’ve been trying to use a postal scale and be precise but I didn’t know about envelopes needing the extra ounce postage for not being able to bend. Sorry for any inconvenience this has caused anyone!
I’m still new to swapping, but I promise to rate every swap I receive as soon as I receive them!
I will also always send the swaps I sign up for. If for any reason you don’t receive a swap from me, please let me know- I’ll be happy to resend it! Likewise I’ll always approach a swap partner before rating down for things like that.
I love written and stamped postcards of all kinds, but am also building up my postcrossing stash and enjoy adding variety to it, so unwritten postcards are welcome as well!
I'm going to list some favorite themes below, but please know that at the end of the day I just love coming home to find a piece of someone else's world in my mailbox, so I'm happy with ANY card you want to send.

I’m still new and figuring out what sorts of things I like, so please don’t fret if you can’t find anything on this list to send- basically, as long as it’s not on my Dislikes/Don’t Send list below, it will make me happy. These are just some things off the top of my head!
-Postcards, written and stamped (blank ones are okay, too!)
-Paper ephemera - old book pages, ticket stubs, spare scraps of paper, vellum, anything I can use in mail art and ATC-making as I’m just starting out and need to build up a supply!
-Photographs, especially of pastel things
-ATCs and homemade PCs
-Letter sets or handmade envelopes
-Used or unused postage stamps
-Address labels (I can make them, but I’ll still never say no to adding more others have crafted to my collection!)
-Spare bits of cardboard that I can use as ATC backings - I.e. broken down cereal or poptart boxes.
-Washi samples or rolls
-Inspirational quotes, lyrics, happy thoughts.
-Scrap bits of scrapbook paper
-botanical (greenery, mushrooms, flowers, etc.) or insect themed transparent stickers
-stencils for art journaling/mail art/Gelli printing
-lace for paper crafts
-rubber cling stamps
-Tea: I'm not picky! Spicy/cinnamon heavy things aren't my favorite, but I promise you, if it's caffeinated I'll drink it. Black teas, vanilla-ish things, and fruity flavors are my favorites.
Again, please don’t stress if this list seems short or makes it sound like I’m difficult to please. I promise I’m not, I just don’t know what I like yet!
Please don’t send:
-Anything that smells like smoke
-Planner stickers (as a planner sticker shop owner I have an abundance of these). Transparent deco-type stickers for my journal or mixed media endeavors are welcome, though!
Other than that, I’m not very picky. Even if it’s something I won’t use, I can pass it on later.
Thank you for taking the time to explore my profile!
