Reading your profile sound s a lot like things I like.
I have found a series of books, called Dear America, they are diaries of early Americans and how they got along. Usually the diaries are written by a teen, but they are fascinating and tell how it really was but in a real interesting way. I have read almost all of them and now want to start the England ones.
Since you said you like to read things like that I just had to tell you about them.
