I'm bouncy, bubbly and full of energy. I live in Sydney Australia with a wonderful husband, but no children. I am a full-time artist and sell my sofites weekly at our local market. You can get a good sense of my style by visiting my store (shop.badskirt.com) I'm a big fan of vintage illustration particularly with kids dreaming of big things (space, cowboys, etc...) and japanese style (kawaii and sakura). I also like darker things in styles like Coraline or Nightmare Before Christmas.

I love to learn and think that's the best part of craft. I'm constantly inspired by and learning from other bloggers. I love that.

Growing up, I wanted to be a horse jockey, US president, a professor and an architect. Not necessarily in that order.

I like to sew and crochet. I'm a fan of funky, cute things with saturated colors. In complete contrast, I also like things that are so ugly and dark that they are cute. I like dark, wonky critters (think Edward Gorey or Nightmare Before Christmas) as much as I like things that are funky cute (think Japanese Kawaii)

I like most colors particularly really funky greens and steel blues. I also like orange. [I do not generally like pink, purple, or peach] You can never go wrong with red. I like fabrics with vintage illustration inspired designs or useful basics. [I'm not big on floral prints]
