Hey, Carroll. Norton's fun--two of hers that I like are Voorloper and Scent of Magic. Zahn isn't my cup of tea and a lot of Tepper's stuff depresses me :/ but I'll have to give Traviss a look. Thanks! :) I also like Bruce Sterling, Ann Tonsor Zeddies, and Pauline Ashwell.

I'm a sci-fi fan since the 5th grade. Started with Andre Norton Moon of Three Rings, and now collect her paperbacks from the 1950's. Check some newer sci-fi by these authors - Karen Traviss, Sheri S. Tepper, Timothy Zahn, and Garner ( I forget the first name ).
