I am a 53 year old (young ) wife to my best friend living on the beautiful west shore of Michigan. A homeschooling mom to 5 amazing children and 2 married for a total of 7 children . I love being a grandma to 3 sweeties !

My passions are my faith, being a wife, mom and grandma .Coffee - love the smell , taste and anything coffee - stamps , cards , stickers samples papers - I like it all !! I make time every day to work in my two journals. One is a monthly/ day planner and the other is a day / art journal . I try to work with some kind of paper crafting , scrapbooking, drawing, mixed media or painting every day.

My favorite colors are pink, mint green, gold, blue and purple. I also like the earth tones beige, grey black and white.

I love to sort through pictures and make mini books to put them in . I love love love beautiful papers ! I like anything that makes the pages in my scrapbooks and journals pretty !

On my wish list is a filofax journal ! Aside-from that I like anything Paris or from Italy, pretty and vintage papers,tags envelopes, glycine envelopes, small file folders, note cards, pretty and vintage ephemera pieces,6x6 papers, 3x4 and 4x6cards, stickers, embellishments, stamps-both acrylic and wooden, old book pages, Washi tape of any kind , except cartoon, lace doilies, bookmarks, small banners for scrapbook pages, fun pens, colored ink pens , mechanical pencils, markers,fun paperclips, sticky notes, quotes written on pretty cards, trinkets to hang off journals, die cuts, I like note cards or bookmarks that have been painted with watercolors, mixed media, or sketched on . I love to use them in my planners or to use onto mixed media projects.

I have never liked using cartoon characters or anything Disney.

I am currently collecting scrapbook supplies from these designers: Heidi swapp,studio calico, dear lizzy, amy tangerine, graphic 45, teresa collins, tim holtz, and october afternoon . Any bits and pieces from these would make my day !

On my right now wish list are all of the current pretties in the $1 bins at Target !! Love all of the colors and how you can make a page pretty using them!!

I also like to read self help books as well as historical romance. History and any thing vintage sparks my creative energy.

I like walking and enjoy yoga for relaxation . I live a Gluten free lifestyle and am always looking for good GF recipes . At night my favorite wind down time is taking a long hot bubble bath with a good book !

My love for cooking and caring for my family has always been very important to me .

As the years progress I have found many passions in life that have been creatively satisfying for me. My desire is to share those with others. We have recently moved to the country and I find I am not able to connect with friends as I once used to . For that reason I am very interested in finding pen pals to chat with, swap and be an encouragement to one another .
