Haha, thanks for the heads up! For the life of me I thought I had written crochet hook, and wondered what you were talking about. I think that when I was typing I was thinking hook but my fingers had other ideas... damn them!
I kind of drew the kitty, it was a pic of my orange cat Chester, which I opened up in Photoshop and traced over in a new layer. Then you get rid of the original layer and you're left with a nice cartoony looking picture. It's cheating really!
