Getting mail is my favorite thing :)
I work for the U.S Postal Service in Northern California.
I love camping, playing on the beach, gardening, anything related to the great outdoors, reading and listening to music. Cos-playing at Comic-Con with my daughter.
I have two wonderful grown girls and four beautiful grand daughters, Ava, Ellie Blue, Camille & newest addition Elara.
I recently lost my Whippets, Qi & Conan. They were 14 and 15 years old and had wonderful pampered lives. I have a hole in my heart :(
I think Yosemite, Switzerland, Alaska and Hawaii are all heaven on earth.
I love classical turned up really loud on long road trips by myself. Bizet, Liszt, Dvorak
I love funk and jazz while I'm cleaning house and working in my little garden. Tower of Power, Edger Winter, Jaco Pastorius
I love rock and roll all the time. Rush, Yes, Van Halen, David Bowie, Queen.
I like mysteries. Alfred Hitchcock, Ellery Queen, Edward D. Hoch
I like science fiction. Gardner Dozois, Isaac Asimov, Robert Heinlein, Ernest Cline, John Scalzi.
I like fantasy. Tanith Lee, Roger Zelazny, Marion Zimmer Bradley
I am listening to Scalzi's Old Man's War series of books on Audible. Fantastic!!
Don't get to see a lot of movies but favor sci-fi/fantasy and comedies. Most musicals. A good action flick once in the while.
Blade Runner, Star Wars, Close Encounters, Alien, The Fifth Element, Total Recall, Labyrinth
When Harry Met Sally, Coming To America, Young Einstein, Ghostbusters, Back to the Future, all the Monty Python
My Fair Lady, Rocky Horror Picture Show, West Side Story, Nightmare Before Christmas, Newsies, HAIR, Little Shop of Horrors
Road Warrior, Die Hard, Indiana Jones, Jurassic Park, The Bourne series.
I don't watch a lot of television being a full time worker and outdoors fan but I'm a sucker for the Discovery Channel and the National Geographic Channel.
Star Trek Discovery, Picard, Doctor Who
Love watching cycling, Men's tennis, Westminster/Crufts and what little surfing is out there.
I'm not a major crafty type but I'm good on the sewing machine (thanks Mom) and make things I can't always get my hands on.
I've been dabbling with Perler Beads. It's been fun so far :)

I prefer my cards written on and stamped.
Any beautiful landscape, Mountains, Forests, Meadows, Savannas, Gardens, The Aurora Borealis/Northern Lights, Midnight Suns, Alaska, Hawaii, Switzerland
Whippet Dogs, Sighthounds, Black Panthers, Sea Turtles or Sea Horses, Dragonflies
Surfable Waves, Cycling, Anything Post Office/Mail Related
Anything in the Sci-Fi/Fantasy realm
For blank postcard swaps I love any California cards, USA cards, native USA animals or flora, cars of any type
To make things clear I don't like handmade postcards. I do appreciate the time and talent some people put into them but I've been burned bad by what people call art. A cut out newspaper comic or a piece of wallpaper is not a postcard to me. I also don't want third party postcards. Giving my name and address to some random company makes me feel like I have no control over who has my information. I prefer to make my own decision on who has that. I collect store bought postcards and try not to sign up for swaps that allow homemade or third party cards. Please save those cards for people who really want them! Thanks!!
