Hi there...first off, let me apologize! This message was meant to be sent yesterday, but due to my internet being on the fritz at home, I'm sending it from work today :) First off, I noticed that you're fairly new to Swap-bot - I hope you're having a fantastic time here so far! I also joined relatively recently (earlier this year) and I find it to be a lot of fun, and I've also met some great people this way, too. Just like you, I love snail mail - as you put it, the anticipation of receiving something is one of the best feelings associated with it, one that's a lot harder to replicate when it comes to more instant mediums of communication, like e-mail or IM-ing. I also adore sea glass. A good day at the beach for me is one where I can return home with a handful of beautifully polished finds. I've been wanting to experiment with fashioning some of them into jewellery, particularly earrings. It's been a pleasure to read and comment on your profile - and I wish you a future filled with thoughtful, joyful swapping! :) Best wishes, LadySiva (Read my profile and leave me a comment swap.)

read my profile and leave me a comment swap Hello, Good Luck in completing your RN degree, think it takes special people to work in that field. You really sound creative, taking others junk and making new items......I crocheted years ago, making giant granny squares for a throw, never wanted to learn knitting...good luck with your scrapbooking, may you complete lots of memories......nice to meet you..susieq40

Hello and welcome to Swap bot! I hope you're enjoying it here and you're snail mail cravings are being satisfied ^_^ And may I just say that working in a childrens hospital is a very noble job!

What kind of needlecrafting do you do? I'm a big fan of cross stitch myself, although I've found myself doing most types of needlework lately. I'd love to try crochet, but I know how to knit instead. I went to a craft fair and had a choice between the two, and as I already had a knitting kit at home, I went for knitting.

Take care ^_^
