Hrmm I don't know if it's any better, I probably would suggest using washi tapes instead of clear tape since the washi tapes come off easier from the cardboard and plastic versus the regular clear tape. I sometimes tape them up but just one piece of tape on each of the sides :) I hope that made sense lol. If not let me know I'll post a photo on Instagram and tag you :)
