About Me

I'm bored of bills and bank statements, and would like to get some fun mail at the same time as meeting new people.

I like cute things, japanesey things, am pretty much new at crafting so hope noone is disappointed with any of my swaps.

My favourite colour is purple.

I'm a software engineer but would secretly love to open a cake shop.

I'm learning to crochet & have made a couple of felt stuffies.

I like cross stitch kits, cos they require minimal thinking and are relaxing to do.

Favorite Books

I worked in a library for 7 years, so I'll pretty much pick up anything for to read...

...my bookcases are mainly full of software engineering text books (which I don't read) and cookery books (that I read all the time).

I like a bit of trashy girly reads (especially on holiday), or a good thriller... my boyfriend reads a lot of Stephen King but I've never gotten round to borrowing one of those cos I'm worried they'll scare me... maybe I'll give them a go soon.

I also like stories that aren't primarily about the war (WWI/WWII), but that include a bit of history and real life in them.

Authors that I've enjoyed... ...Karin Slaughter, Jenny Colgan, Lesley Pearse, Virginia Andrews, Sebastian Faulks.

Response: I'm so glad you like it, I was expecting a bookmark to be easy to make but it totally stressed me out. Pleased with the finished article, those stars are left over from my wedding invite prototypes!

I read some of your craft blog and I laughed when I read that you loose all control when you go to your craft store. I feel you on that one. Every time I go to the craft section in the dollar store or to Micheals Craft store its like someone else has taken over my body and I go crazy!! My craft stash has taken over...!

You have great taste in TV :D lol My husband is retired AF when we lived in England for 3 years I was addicted to Neighbours and Home & Away. That was a long time ago though :) I like every single one of the other shows you have listed too.
