Hello, I am a little awkward at filling out profiles because I never know what to say.. but here is a try!

I am a young (under 30!) mother of four children ages 8.6.4.2. They are sweet but very rascally and full of mischief. Recently I made the decision to quit my job in non-profit management in order to spend more time with them and focus on homeschooling.

We enjoy nature, learning, cooking and doing a lot of crafty things together. In order to ease the burden of downsizing to one income, I recently started up a blog and began selling items that I create at home on Etsy. My involvement in business and marketing through my former career gave me a head start in starting a business, and I have a lot more fun working for myself, but we have a long way to go in the creativity department.

Participating in Swap-bot is an opportunity for me to expand my online social network, while learning through example from people around the world who are more creative than myself. I look forward to the opportunity to create gifts and collections just for you, and hopefully to find people with similar interests and lifestyles in the process!

I like to knit, embroider, sew, dip candles, fold paper, collect found objects and make toilet paper goggles with my kids.

My favorite colors are whites, reds, purple and blue

I prefer to work with natural fibers- particularly linen, silk, wool and bamboo.
